Multiple buildings Queue?

is there a way to build more than one building simultaneously "more buildings at the same time" just like in empire or shogun 2? like paying for each of them but the process of building to be independent for each and not the need to wait for one to be completed to start another? thanks

It can't be changed. Building construction slot size is hardcoded at one.

There are some exceptions. If several buildings are damaged in a siege you can repair all of them at once as well as building one new building at the same time. Also, if you decide to stop building a mulit-turn structure and start building something else (by putting it in the queue before it and not deleting the original project), the original construction project will stay at the same level (e.g. two turns done out of four) and you can come back to it later and finish it off, at no extra cost.
