    Default Just Arrived at MTW

I just got MTW gold edition and am starting to study the mods and the things needed.

any drastic things to watch out for? i have seen posts and lots of info about crashes...is that a problem? i run an Nvida Card, 9600 and see that it is Nvida cards that have the global issue with polygons that may cause some of the crashy stuff.

i see i wont need patches which is good. I will just proceed and study as i go along just wanted to thank the modders, the new skies look nice as are some of the other mods. Hello to all and thank you.

never had a technical problem with M2TW that wasn't caused by a fault in my video card (I had a faulty ATI card and switched to an NVIDIA card). You only need 512 Mb of video RAM so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. AS your question is a bit vague, you may like to post it on the technical help forum (see below). Here are the answers to the most commonly asked questions :

Fantastic, thanks so much that is EXACTLY what i needed. I like to dig deep and study a game hard and check out mods and other add ons once i have studied the main campaigns and story line. Good to hear re the technical side, I posted just to check to see if there were any major technical glitches, good to hear there arent.

I went ahead and bought Kingdoms too, so i will be able to check it all out. thanks again..much appreciate that detailed and clickable list. it is a game researchers dream
