Ex-Civitate rank request

As many of the TWC most respected members are asking their Civitate rank removed, I propose next.

Anyone who have been Civitate at least six months and resigns from the Civitate rank have right to carry rank of Aristocrat/Merchant (or something like) for the honour of taking part in the CVRIA matters.

That person have right to decline from this rank if it's something that one wishes for, and get Civitate status back when he/she wishes to take part in the CVRIA matters again.

I know that this is a minor suggestion and not relevant at all, but I would love to give those persons who decide to leave CVRIA matters recognizition from taking part for contributing and improving the site. This might cause some extra work, but I believe we have enough decidated members here who could help staff with it.

Please discuss about this, and remember this is just an idea, nothing more.

I was about to say that, Senatorri, if they get a rank, ex-Civitates should, ones that left voluntarily, its not as if theres too many of them to give the rank to

No.. if people don't want the rank of civitate why should they have a rank saying that they didnt want the rank of civitate. The entire idea of leaving the civitate class is to distance oneself from it. Having a rank for this kind of defeats the purpose if you ask me.

I don't support this idea. Not to kick a dead horse, seeing as this has been covered quite a bit, but the idea that you want to give a rank to somebody who has already refused to be associated with any ranks at all seems rather "unfitting."

You can easily tell ex civs when you look at them due to the custom user title. So how about we let ex civs keep thier user titles and be able to change it whenever they want?

Anyway, not that many civs are asking to have thier status revoked, can you make a list of names?

I said that in my 'Final Solution' thread, it just seems to me that everyone says we need to change the curia, but as yet nothing seems to becoming into being. Although I think Tostig's Manifesto is looking increasingly likely as the only thing that will cure the Curia. I tried suggesting soloutions, but once again it got bogged down in specifics...
