Tought I really don't believe they make WH-TW game, the franchise is known to be historical, not fantasy. It will be something a bit more different maybe.

Eh Spartan total warrior, alien and Vikings are CA games.
I agree it probably won't be a total war game, but it might be a strategy, I'm quite sure GW's reason for joining such a prestigious label would be because of it's strategy track-record.

Maybe they won't call it Total War granted, but be sure that if they are making it a strategy game it will be well along the lines of Total War games, period.

I suppose they could do a Spartan: TW style game but it seems so obvious from the CoW mod anyway that Warhammer is the perfect world for a fantasy TW. I can't wait, it's probably going to be a few years though

When I saw this report earlier today on another site I honestly almost choked up with tears. I have been waiting so long to have a Warhammer Total War game with magic and spells. I know this mod is fantastic and the mod team does the best it can with the tools it has but CA should be able to make a game that actually includes magic from the start rather than trying to tinker with effects later on in a mod.
