    Default Kingdoms: Crusades

So I was wondering if there was a mod for the Crusades campaign in the Kingdoms dlc, that allows the Kingdom of Jerusalem to recruit Hospitallers. After all it was customary for Templars and Hospitallers to defend Jerusalem, and historically it would be more accurate.

    Thoughts?

Broken Crescent Mod? Sure beats the heck outta vanilla Crusades. I haven't tried the KoJ in campaign yet and I have heard there is a bug that makes two units unrecruitable and has to be fixed manually in the EDB, but the Hospitallers are not one of them. However they are unlocked by event at like turn 100 or something.

Hmm. Never tried that, but just talking about a small tweak, just installed Stainless Steel and it was extremely painful so I may hold off on downloading another mod right away, even if it has an easy to use automated installer :p

But further down the road maybe I will try that, thanks

That's a great idea, honestly in the game I find the Hospitallers more interesting than Templars.

Chivalry II: Sicilian Vespers allows for Templar and Hospitaller knights to be recruited. There's multiple campaigns, that include a kingdom of Jerusalem, the Kingdom of Cyprus which existed at the end of the crusades and also the ability for certain Catholic nations to build a proto-crusader state in a different era. It's quite fun and quite unique. You should try it out.
