Hey guys, new to the forums, this is my first post
Anyways, this question has been bugging me for quite some time, I've done some research into this for a while too. But for almost every western european army there is the late infantry helmet with the thin visor that goes with the plate armor, usually found in the fully armor upgraded pikemen. Would that helmet be considered a sallet? the end of the helmet seems a bit long to be an sallet, even if its the german sallet and i have yet to find a historical helmet with that type of visor.
Any kind of insight on this would be appreciated.![]()
