Appdata/roaming/TheCreativeAssembly folder missing!

A few weeks ago I fried my hard drive. I had to reformat the drive and then reinstall my OS(windows 7). I have since reinstalled my Total War games(ETW, NTW & STW2). The problem is that the Creative assembly folder is nowhere to be found. No appdata, no roaming folder, no Creative Assembly under C/users.....
I would like to install the mods that I use for these games but I can't without finding that folder, because I like to copy extra folders just in case, and I like to change some things in preferences.txt. Without finding this folder I am doomed to play only the vanilla version{LORD HELP ME!

}. I have done all kinds of different searches through the "search programs and files" and I keep coming up short. I am able to play all three of these games without any problems, even though I can't find these folder's. Would it be a fair assumption that these games would NOT be able to work properly if those folders did NOT exist? If anyone can offer some advice as to how I can locate the C/users/(name)/appdata/roaming/TheCreativeAssembly/ETW,NTW,STW2 folders I would be eternally grateful. Help me please, for I will suffer at the hands of the "vanilla monster!" Thank you.

I really appreciate your quick response. I know how to find the folder, I know the correct path, the problem is it's not there.

I just did a test run. I started a campaign as Spain and saved a naval battle. I then did a search for he saved file. If you notice the file is saved in the correct path, but when I try to get to that path after C/users/ztrain - there is NO appdata. This is my dilemma.

Are you sure you unhid all files, folders, and drives in Folder Options?
