0.44a plus hotfixes CTD

playing campaign as britain, layed siege to glasgow and they sallied. go to play on battlefield, game ctd's as soon as it should enter the battle map.

enemy:
feudal knights
militia cavalry
kernbannal
goirrane x2
gaenaught x2
levy spearmen
levy archers

my army:
feudal seargeants x14
levy spearmen
feudal knights
family member edward of ratae

i will save a copy of the folder as is in case you would like me to look at any of the files (or i can even rar it up and upload so you can have it to mess with).

auto-resolving the battle gets me past it.

It is the goirrane, that causes the ctd, and it is a known bug, which is in the meantime fixed (for a next release). Btw., there is a bugreport-topic in the pinned section :wink:

Hi DaVinci, how it looks with next release? Is there any time plan? Your mod is great, i have no problems (Eras RTW Gold ed). Will the next release include units cards? (I never use firdmens becouse they looks like peasants...)

I'm not sure what you mean by unit cards. if you're talking about the unit cards that appear in the GUI, they all look OK to me. Fyrdmen too, at least for the Battle of Hastings.

Possibly he grabbed one of the not official released 0.44h internal testbuild uploads on TWC dl section, i believe there were versions with messed up ui's (unit-icons).

A next release is planned not before 3-4 weeks :wink: ... but this means not, that a release date is in 4 weeks ... you know, just when it's done

But it's worth the waiting, cos if we have success and all working hard, then it will contain nice things.

Since I looked at the feature's list, I'm greedy to get my hands on it asap, of course for "testing" purposes only.

Hi Peeps, i have a question (dunno if it's already been asked, please refer me te correct thread if so);

After installing the hotfix (20,3 mb rar-file) i noticed i had al few more buildings available to build, but strangely they were RTW-BI buildings, with their discriptions etc.

Dunno if that's ok or???

Also i tried the 1.01 --> 1.05 patches but the game crashes at startup, saying something about missing skeletons at line 1872 etc. etc.

Any help with these prob's would be great!!!!

This is already clarified ... he mentions above about the community mod from daudr in relation with 0.44 installation.
