    Default The most challenging submod

I want to ask you guys what is the most challenging submod of Westeros Tw, I am currently playing 0.53 enchanced, I played with house stannis in VH/VH and It was way to easy, I am not even that pro player, and there was no challenge in winning the game. By the way I assumed stannis is the most dificult, is there any house more dificult to play?

    Thank you

House Mudd in the King of the River and Hills submod is reportedly very challenging. They start with a huge kingdom, but are surrounded by 4 powerful other factions and one which might become powerful if they win their own little war.

Try hotseat Games. In korah you just go on Multiplayer and select the factions you and your Friends want to Play...

If you want to stick with enhanced, then I would say Joffrey is way harder than Stannis.

Many thanks to the good folks down at the Graphics Workshop for the sig.

Really? I don't think Joff is that challenging a faction...
If you are looking for a fun/challenging westeros experience, here are the factions I enjoyed playing the most:
    1) In KORAH, Mudd is in my opinion the most challenging faction. Hoara and Stormkings are damn fun as well, but I don't think they are very challenging. However KORAH is the best done Westeros mod, I recommend you to play with this more then any other submod, including Enhanced. Even Enhanced isn't "well done". It definetly improves the alpha but still isn't complete.
    2) In Enhanced, Greyjoys ,Stannis and Tullys are the best ones. You will enjoy them.
    3) In Blackfyre's Rebellion, play as house Blackfyre. They are the "main attraction" of this Submod and damn hard to play as.
    4) In Fire and Blood, play as House Targaryen. Although I truly believe the biggest challenge is playing as House Bolton since they start out with only one settlement. Playing as Robert and trying to defeat the wretched Targaryens is fun as well, I believe.
Don't play with the Alpha, it's complete crap (forgive me for my language)

The thing in Enchanced is that no matter what house you are, AI leaves a lot of settlements unprotected, you just go arround their armys and conquer all the castles behind their lines, so it makes it very easy to win.
Thank you guys for all the tips, I will try KORAH now, I will see how it goes

House Mudd, challenging but fun with everyone around you. Also it's great to have the faction named "Mudd".

In the newest (Yet to be released) version of Fire and Blood I have added over half a dozen new factions (Frey, Bolton, Redwyne, Hightower, Yronwood, Darry, and Targaryen).

House Darry is a house which previously was quite powerful, but had their powerbase slowly carved apart after a series of failures, the last being supporting the Targs during Robert's rebellion. In Fire and Blood, they represent the Targaryen supporters on the mainland.

As the Crownlands and Riverlands are recieving many new settlements, Darry is surrounded by potential enemies on all sides. I have not tried a full Darry playthrough yet (as we are adding so much new content every day I keep invalidating my saves!) but I imagine that would probably be the hardest - especially in a hotseat!

Personally, I think Frey is more difficult than Bolton, as Frey has less income, and is surrounded by other factions (Rather than just the Starks) - any one of whom has the power to wipe the Freys off the map!

    Also... Fixed this for you

The thing in any Total War game is that no matter what house you are, AI leaves a lot of settlements unprotected, you just go arround their armys and conquer all the castles behind their lines, so it makes it very easy to win.
