    Default BI-Darthmod opinions?

I have mostly been playing Darth RTW for quite a while now, and recently switched more to BI, starting with Vanilla. I am now curious about Darth's BI mod, however, there are, unfortunately, not too many detailed threads on BI-Darthmod and how it plays in comparison. I have no doubt that it improves upon the Vanilla game, however, I was wondering where one see the differences the most. Do the formations improve the battles as much as the Darth formations improved the Vanilla RTW game - how are the battles? How is the strategic map balancing compared to Vanilla - does it make certain factions noticeably harder and others easier? Are the unit strengths changed in the game making some types more(or less) effective than in the Vanilla balance? Anything else noteworthy?

Thanks, and look forward to the opinions.

The only real difference I saw were of course the longer battles and the different skins. Though I did somewhat prefer CA's in this case.

The BI_DarthMod is focused on maintaining the BI balance of CA in campaign while it enhances the gameplay in battles and generally the challenge.
    Almost everything re-skinned.

Uses almost all Darth_RTW ideas but has someslight differences in balance due to the different time period .(cavalry rules, horse archers are super weapons, infantry is more mobile etc.)

Well, I played the BI demo for about 90 seconds. When I finally bought it, I went straight into Darth-BI, so I can't tell you. The unit stats are VERY well balanced. As far as the campaign goes, well, on Medium it seems that the Vandals and the ERE rule the world. I don't think a whole lot was done to improve historicity, but I don't really mind that. Heck, Gallowglasses are cool, whenever they existed.

Cavalry charges are a nuke in the player's hands compared to the AI. Just stick to infantry/missile based armies until Darth gets these ironed out.

The only thing I probably didn't like was that my Commintanses didn't look remotely like the original CA skins.

Sightly better than BI except this fact http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=57625 wich was already in BI, the Eastern roman empire is too powerfull. But BI will never be as good as RTW.
