    Default Traitors

Playing as Harad i'm plauged by traitors. Is this normal for playing them? My captains are constantly leaving (not being bribed).

I've not experienced this with any other faction. On harad, at just turn 30, i've had 6 captains do this. Two of them were full stacks and it's getting a bit annoying now.

No not that often! But sometimes when i forget about a captain somewhere which has been stopped on its route, then he very often rebels.
Also i have notices, that moving a captain away into large rebel lands(moving through the land takes more than 2-3 turns) makes the change of that captain rebel bigger.

Hmm, well the entire army vanishes, so i never see them again and it happens right in the middle of my own land. I had a bridge i kept a lot of men on, on my own border, and three times the entire lot vanished! I'm on the 30th turn and i've virtually no men left and i've not even had any battles yet!

It quite commonly happend to me in other mods/the main game when my troops where marching a great distance. Anyway, you should never send out a full stack army without a loyal general, otherwise things like this will happen.

Try to get the authority trait of your Grand Serpent up.

Does that really alter it? He's already on 6/10 stars for authority.

I never have any traitors with 9-10 authority, I think it does matter. Especially when a loyal general leads the army.

You need generals to lead you armies, especially if your faction leader has low authority, which the leader of Harad is prone to have. Harad has lots of generals, put them to good use leading your armies.

make your faction heir lead your armies, he will have a lot of authority when he becomes leader others will not rebel as well

I'll get them both fighting i think. I plan to build some ships as i've noticed they never abandon you, i'll store some men on them.

One thing i have noticed in this is that the generals all have high loyalty and that they never rebel, it's just the captains.
