Default For the life of me, I can't figure out why Skyrim doesn't like my graphics card

This is more of a basement question in my opinion but move it if you want.

So here's my problem: I have a Sapphire Radeon HD 7850 2GB OC Edition. I've had Skyrim for a long time now. Previously I ran ENB-RL and a ton of texture mods. It crashed a lot but I was able to bear it up until recently, and so I reinstalled without the ENB. Unfortunately, even after editing my SkyrimPrefs.ini and Skyrim.ini, deleting and regenerating them, trying all the presets (low, medium, high, etc.) my game still experiences flickering and popping black anomalies in the sky and ground. Now I know this isn't a faulty hardware problem as I've played numerous other, more intensive games, like BF3 and Shogun 2, with maxed out settings for hours on end and experienced no indications of overheating or overworking my card, as well as using Furmark multiple times to stress test it.

Basically, the problem in game is like I said: popping anomalies in the sky and out of the ground, black lines moving peripheral to the center of the field of view (a shadow blurring problem I assume) and so on. Is this just because of notoriously faulty AMD drivers (which I just updated) or is there something else I can do?

Grab MSI Afterburner and check your VRAM usage in game. If you have texture mods, you're probably exceeding the 2GB and crashing.

Also, toggle VSync and see if that helps when it's on or off, and disable triple buffering if it's enabled.

also make sure you have the latest drivers

also dont use furmark most GPUs and GPU drivers now detect furmark and scale back the card, because Furmark previously was actually KILLING the graphics cards,

Yeah I tried afterburner, no indications of any problems. Vsync didn't do anything either. Maybe it's a mod problem.

Yeah it's a driver problem, something is up with the current release.
