Default A question about modding files

Oi mates, I know this may sound silly and foolish, but due to my reasons, you could say kinda roleplaying way, but not really roleplaying, well, how can I edit my files for example:

I have Templar's Chapter House in Nottingham (close to Sherwood) and Woodsmen Guild in Caen (Normandy), and for my silly reasons I'd like to go on my files and change those guilds, put the Woodsmen guild in Nottingham and the Templar's Chapter House in Caen, if it's possible.

    So any help is appreciated.

You're talking about save game editing. I doubt any save game editor would have a feature that specific. You could check out MedManager. It's the only Medieval 2 save game editor that I'm aware of. But I highly doubt it would have something that specific.

Well the only way without having to start a new game would be to destroy the guilds, to put a general with at least 5 chivalry as governor in Caen to get the chapter house and build lots of archers in Nottingham to get the woodsmen guild. But it will take a while...

Yes, not to mention I'd have to change Nottingham into a castle, which is impossible now (I changed it into a city).

    So yes, better forget it.
