Can vassals fight each other?

Can vassals fight each other? If not can it be modded for them to be able to?

I highly doubt it, I think they still count as allies to the game and war between allies forces you to give up one of them. And I think diplomacy is pretty hardcoded so very little to mod here.

You can just ignore that message and they will remain your allies, i dont know if that remains that way when you end a turn trough.

Not sure if your questions refers to two of your own vassals or just vassals from different factions, eitherway It's possible, but like mentioned by Lollsuck you will have to choose one of them if they both belong to you (still I don't recal seeing this happen, between allies yes but don't rememebr for my own Vassals), if your vassal wants to fight another factions vassal there is no problem there it's doable, it would be like if they weren't Vassals but just normal factions.

Certain messages disable the end turn button until you address them. I'm assuming that the ally declares war on ally message is one of them.

Well, you won't get dragged into it. But you can't have them both remain vassals. You'd have to choose one. The other one would become neutral.

If that's the case can there be a scripted event where if that happens than the vassal that was made neutral be made a vassal again next turn, but with a war still on between the vassals?

It would end the war. It is impossible to have two allies (or vassals) who are at war with each other.

Ok, then I have another question. Can emergent factions be added to the papal opinion chart, or do all factions that need to be there need to be there from the start?
