Default Coronation of the Irish High King.

The large group of Irish lords gathered around the Tara stone, where Brian O'Connor knelt. The monk holding the crown edged forward while the onlooking nobles remained solemnly silent. The monk stood to the side of Brian, and said unto him:

Do you, Brian O'Connor, hereby vow, as High King, to protect Irish values, Irish freedom, and the Irish people? Do you hereby vow to defend the rights of the Irish lords and their vassals, and defend the island from tyrannical overlordship?

The question hung in the air, for a time, until Brian answered.

    I do.

The crown was lowered onto his head, and sat upon it comfortably. The monk swallowed, and said:

Rise, as Brian O'Connor, King of Connacht and High King of Éire

The lords cheered as he rose, and Brian suppressed a wide grin forming on his face. He stood to address the lords:

They will say, in a hundred years time, Ireland's freedom began today!!

He roared, which prompted many cheers from the assembled lords. He broke of into the crowd, personally greeting and thanking the lords who attended.

Seamus cheered with the rest. It truly was a great day.
