Overclocking & CPU Life Span
I want to get the most out of my CPU but also let it lives its life to the fullest.
Information
- using a very good sealed liquid cooling system
- i7 3770K Quad-Core
- Aiming for 4.1ghz - 4.8ghz
- PSU 1050 Watt Corsair HX1050
I think that's all the important stuff. How to get it to last me a couple years? 5ish or more maybe? And overclocking a extremely good video card, a no-no if not needed and pointless?

keep CPU voltage under 1.3v at load and your CPU will last you far longer than it will actually be useful

As long as you don't over-volt, and keep your temps at recommended or within 5-10 degrees of that, you shouldn't have any decreased lifespan at all.
