    Default New Custom PC

Hey all. I am building a new custom pc specifically for gaming. I've tried to balance preformance and value as well as possible. I wanted to stay within the $1000 range and I think I have suceeded. Are these good, quality parts? Does anyone have any recommendations as to what may be a better deal? Thanks in advance for any advice.

Well try and go far at least a 7900GT, even a 7800GT would be preferable, its only marginally more expensive than the 7600GT.

I agree with Shaun, everything else looks pretty good, but the video card upgrade will make it worth paying for all the other components... believe me. I love my 7800 GTX!!!

Thanks for the suggestions. However, I am currently at my maximum budget (actually over about $100). I plan to use SLI with two of these cards in the future. Hopefully this card will suffice until I have some money to buy another card. Thanks for your time!

As I said before, the 7800GT is only marginally more expensive than the 7600GT, and easily out performs it, so that would be a far better buy.
