Mini restart

I'm proposing a mini-restart, but with everything kept. We have just hit 1200, and someone else can be king. You can keep your money and account, post here if you will play.

Not really much left to do...there is only so much you can do in an English setting roleplay.

Well, as LM says, i'm not sure if it changes anything.

Most of the medieval period has been covered for England. I would be up for the setting being changed to like...another location, but that would be a major overhaul.

There are SOME good options, but depends. HRE and England have been used too much. Some nations are too big to control, depending on when we start.

I mean some options we can use are: Kingdom of Jerusalem, Spanish Kingdoms, Latin Empire of Constantinople, Kingdom of France, Denmark, Poland, Hungary.

That is another option...but the setting is mostly for Western Medieval structure. Basically Frankish structure. To do Russia, we would have to convert over to the Slavic structure of medieval society.

All the rules are perfectly set up for a Western styled monarchy, which would make it easier for us to just change the location to another Western styled kingdom.

That's why I suggested a lot more Western modeled kingdoms instead of Slavic/Eastern monarchies.

It might be better though to start a smaller kingdom seeing as don't have that many active players.

Another idea is that we can go further into English history. Such as the Hundred Years' War, War of the Roses and the House Tudor. so 1300s - 1500s.

I would like that, too. How about we start at Henry V? Not long after the battle of Agincourt, England has just got some major concessions in France. We don't want to go past Henry VII because lords can't field armies.

Well garland, obviously they were, for obvious reasons. With such a small player base slogging it out kills them off. It wouldn't be much of a game if we all just died in the middle of Wales. If we had a larger player base I would do the rolls.

Well the decision will have to be if we remain in England but go up to 1300s - 1500s or find another Western/Frankish style monarchy (besides HRE.)

Here are my opinions:
- Later years of the Latin Empire of Constantinople, when it is smaller and threatened by Bulgaria and the Byzantine Emperor in Nicaea reconquering Greece
- All of Iberia, around the time of El Cid or at the Siege of Lisbon
- The War of the Roses. Nuff said.
