Browsers show different colors?

I have 3 internet browsers, from which I do not use the IE whatsoever.

So anyway, I have been using both - firefox and Opera - for everything, once this, once that.

What I noticed is, that the colors on the web pages show up slightly different.

FOr example, TWC in firefox is kinda weird, compare to using opera.

the side bar where the badges are look kinda pinkish and the main thread bar (around this editing box i'm writing into) is almost like bright yellow.

In opera, the TWC forum sidebar looks more greyish yellow and the center main part is brownish yellow.

I prefer how the opera shows, but I just want to know what could be causing this?

I have often noticed that pictures which seem of ok brightness to me show up much darker to others - whether this is a browser or monitor issue I do not know.

Also, most of the time when I pull up TWC the "Eagle Standard" and "Latest Files Added" lines overlap, as if the latter were written over the former. Again, Im not sure if these are browser issues, which in part is why I am posting.
(Im using Mozilla, by the way)

sometimes i use IE but in IE TWC is alot brighter then mozilla is so mozilla is easier on the eyes sometimes

That is because every browser have different standards.

Try doing Acid2 Browser Test and you will soon notice that Opera 9.0 is the only browser that currently passes the test.
