    Default move_character command?

    Hello,

I want to move a character to a certain position on the map.
I want to use the move_character "Character Name"X,Y command. Which is the correct way to put in the name? I thought e.g. move_character "Lvcivs Cornelivs Scipio"106,108 would work but is does not. Can anyone tell me which is the right input method? In SS it worked that way but sometimes on had to write something like "Lvcivs Cornelius_Scipio". I tried out some versions but always ended up with "Character not found". Please assist if possible. Thanks in advance.

The gist of the move_character command is getting the name of the character you want to move. I used this for moving AI KH armies from Crete or Rhodos or to move the remains of Carthaginian forces from Iberia to Africa after signing the peace treaty with Rome (me being Rome).

Write down the name of your character (be careful about spelling!). Next, alt-tab into windows (I can only do that once per game time before the game crashes on me), go into Rome's folder, then EB/Data/Text and find the names.txt. Open it with Textpad and do a search for the first name, then another search for middle and last name.

When it comes to Roman characters, their computer names are their first names, followed by 'Romanvs'. Then you just have to go through the A-K added with the name (example: MarcvsA, etc.) Sometimes this does not work. I've had FMs with same names as spies or diplomats and the commands always went to the spy instead of FM.
