Is the army missing before or after you start the clock? If you bring more than one army into a single battle, they will only appear when you stop arranging your initial troops and click 'Start'. That's when you see your enemy's position for the first time and your other troops should also appear at the edge of your map.

Sometimes the joining army can be delayed but you get a notification of that. I don't know exactly why that happens (or even if this is possibe in EB; might be a memory from Vanilla RTW).

Go into your RTW folder\EB\preferences and in the preferences.txt file change UNLIMITED_MEN_ON_BATTLEFIELD from FALSE to TRUE

I think you might have changed the "minimal UI" setting set to false. see if that works.

It's called minimal ui, you can disable it in the same file: preferences.txt and switch it to false.

EDIT:Whoops another person answered a bit faster than me!
