    Default Win conditions for AI factions?

    I've modded win conditions for a brittish mod running under BI 1.6 as follows:
    alemanni
    hold_regions Din_Eidyn_R Craig_Phadraig_R Strivelyn_R Dun_Breatann_R
    take_regions 25
    Have been playing campaigns for a while and thought all was working, names of regions to be taken appear in faction details and faction selection screen, and locations show on campaign map (cities show as coloured blobs), with FOW on.

    but have just turned FOW off and realised that the AI controlling the 'alemanni' (caledonii) has actually taken all the required settlements + 29 regions! I assume win conditions should apply to AI as well - so any idea why this has not worked?

    Are you running the game with the -ai command?

    No that was normal campaign play - is the AI not meant to win if it reaches conditions first?

    Sorry if that's a really stupid question - but this is first mod I've worked on where its hard enough for the human player - that the AI achieving victory conditions is an issue!

    When i moded victory conditions for Scythia in RTW to take one region and hold one(can't remeber which one),AI was expanding,but when it reached and captured that region I set up for him,my faction was defeated.I played House of Julii.

    So answer to your question is that AI is meant to win!
