    • Robert de Coutances marries a Welsh noblewoman by the name of Marared who shires Geoffrey I as well as another son and three daughters

    After the untimely death of Geoffrey I who suffered from a severe illness, House de Coutances slowly fades into history. The Barony of Bath is taken under the regency of Mary de Coutances, the last living heiress of Geoffery I de Coutances, with the help of Hugh of Bridgewater, her mentor from when she was a child. She eventually marries an English nobleman from Cornwall, Geoffrey Beckett in early 1112 AD, under the advice of Hugh, who knew Geoffrey well. The House of Beckett then takes de Coutances' place as the Barons of Bath after the marriage of Geoffrey II, 4th Baron of Bath to Mary de Coutances, daughter of Geoffrey I, late 3rd Baron of Bath.

    • In honor of the late Robert de Coutances, 2nd Baron of Bath, John Beckett marries Angharad, a minor noblewoman of Wales. She shires two stillborn children before the birth of Geoffrey Beckett who remains a single child for the rest of Angharad's life.

    Geoffrey III Beckett 1st Prince of Somerset, 6th Baron of Bath and Lord Chancellor of the Realm, 1153 - ????
    • In the year 1156, Geoffrey III Beckett, Lord Chancellor of England and 6th Baron of Bath, is elevated to the title Earl of Somerset. His son and heir, Robert Beckett is named Viscount of Avon and betrothed to Margaret Plantagenet, daughter of His Majesty, Henry II of England
    • At an unknown date, Geoffrey III Becket, Lord Chancellor of England and Prince of Somerset, dies due to a long period of illness. His son, Robert, vanishes into France for a nearly a decade

    Robert I (II) Beckett: 2nd Prince of Somerset, Titular 7th Baron of Bath and Lord Chancellor of the Realm, 1164 - 1169
    • In the year 1160, Robert Beckett marries his fiancee, Lady Margaret Plantagenet, second daughter of Henry II, the late King of England
    • Due to the good graces of King Alfred II of England, Robert Beckett is reinstated as Prince of Somerset and granted the office of Lord Chancellor
    • Robert dies unexpectedly, leaving no male heir. In his will, he relinquishes the title Prince of Somerset and officially disbands the Princedom.

    • In the year 1169, Robert Beckett dies, leaving sole control of Bath to his son-in-law, Geoffrey Breakspear who is married to only child and daughter, Mary Beckett-Plantagenet.
