    Default Installing problem

Hello. I want to install Medieval Total War Gold Edition and this message appears to me : An earlier version of Medieval - Total War has been detected. Please uninstall this before uninstalling Medieval - Total War - Gold edition.

I had this game installed to my pc a few months ago, i uninstalled`it back then, i deleted all the files from the game, deleted all the files from pc containing "medieval" or "mtw" and still wont let me install the game.
I also used Eusing Registry Cleaner and still no luck...

    I need some advices, please.

Possibly the game being stupid. The CA vanilla version is pretty bugged.
Are you playing a mod or vanilla?
Have you updated Kingdoms to 1.5?

Moved from Medieval2 Tech to Eras Tech

I thought you meant Medieval2 and Kingdoms. Viking Invasion is the old Medievl One.

Barbarian Invasion needs to be uninstalled first. BI will not run without Rome being installed if this is the real question.
