This is 99% finished. It works ingame. The only issue is the lack of a proper unit card. I have no skill at GIMP editing.
I set them up as a slightly powerful, but expensive and rare unit. At the highest barracks available, the unit pool is limited to 3, and it takes a minimum of three turns to get one unit. Regeneration rate is, I think, 0.4. They have a recruit cost of 610, and an upkeep of 200.
I have all the files packaged and ready to upload:
data/text/export_units.txt.strings.bin
data/text/export_units.txt (For editing reference, if needed.)
data/ui/unit_info/denmark/danish_theigns_info.tga
data/ui/units/denmark/#danish_theigns.tga (copy of Saxons/theigns.tga)
data/unit_models/_units/en_lmail_hmail/ **.mesh (8 meshes)
data/unit_models/battle_models database
imperial_campaign/descr_strat - With Theigns replacing some starting units. There are also other minor tweaks that I have made to the Danish Faction for my personal gameplay, including converting all the Northern Germany rebel castle to cities, with stronger available militias defending.)
data/EDB - DISCLAIMER: I have been using Zeph's Generals and Eras modded EDB in my own game. My Danish Theigns have been added to Zeph's EDB.
data/EDU - includes entries for making Theigns (Saxon) available to Slave/Rebel factions.
Does anyone else see a file I missed? As stated previously, the unit works in game - all animations, textures, etc. I also left a message with Zeph requesting permission to release the Zeph EDB. However, he has not been on since July... I can place the Danish Theigns into a vanilla EDB if I need to, just need to know before I release.
Any comments, or help with the unit card .tga is appreciated.
