Why all this boastful posting, I can promise you Martell that you can have something big to worry about next turn and I suggest for now that we stop this useless posting.
It was a rainy day. The siege of Stoney Sept was near to the end when Walder Frey received the messengers of Brynden Tully in his tent. Due to the torrential rain that fell in the past two days, the place was pure mud and musty smell, but still his tent was the most comfortable assembled.
After a brief announcement, the Lords Janos Bracken and Karyl Vance rushed into the tent without many ceremonies, eventually leaving that Walder know the will of his suzerain.
"Damn rain, i would have reached your camp at least half a day ago but that was before the flood - Lord Bracken said - I bring the latest information from Riverrun to you, the Blackfish wants you to raise the camp and go north after the fall of Stoney Sept. We must unite our forces with Lord Piper. "
"The siege ends tonight - said Walder - we'll be ready to march at dawn."
"Great, he also ordered that the people of Stoney Sept must be preserved, that the city shouldn't be sacked and any damage that has been caused by Lions get our attention with the proper repairs. He also sent this letter giving the Lord Karyl Vance the temporary government of the city. "
From everything he heard, which Walder liked least was leaving the newly taken city under the command of Karyl Vance, who even participated in the battles. As much as he did, it seemed that the Tully still did not trust his family.
"It will be done as ordered - finished Walder Frey - Now if you'll excuse me, I'll order my men to take the city at once." Walder did not wait for an answer, leaving his tent toward the captains of his troops, giving the necessary orders.
