Steam and different OS

I've got a MacBook Pro for my computer and to play empire I bootcamped it and so I have windows as well. While it is nice having windows not all things are perfect on it, like e keyboard is a bit weird and other minor things, which is why I would like to get steam on my Mac side in order to play Crudaser Kings 2. My question is should I make a new steam account or is it possible to use the same account, but have both windows and Mac games on it?

you use the same account, when you have a game that runs on both OSes for example RUSE, you can play on both OSes, meaning you dont need to repurchase your game.
