A thread for the rp will keep the clutter in the actualy thread to a minimum and allow us to see whos turn it is without going through several pages of rp.

Ok I'll kick off.



"MORE wine, boy!" Robert yelled as he looked to the boar's den a dozen meters up ahead.
"Yes, Your Grace", Lancel answered terrified.
"This is a tough one, this is, oh yes I will kill this one my self" Robert said as he took a large drink.
"Your Grace I really think this is not a good plan, my duty is to guard the King at all times. I will not stand by while you face that boar alone. If you don't agree that we should all encircle the boar, let me then at least accompany you." Barrastian, Lord Commander of the Kingsguard, said.
"Dammit Barrastian! I know that if I would allow that you would take the boar down before it is even close, to "protect me". No, a large beast like this must be"... a pause as he emptied his flask... "killed while facing it head on." He looked around for Lancel.
"Boy! where are you you stupid idiot! This flask is empty already, are you giving me less? I said more wine!"
"Brother, I really think you have had enough of that if you want to face that boar head on, you can barely stand on your legs. Besides you are not the fastest or the strongest anymore." Renly said with a look at Robert's large and fat posture.
"Oh, shut up" Robert said with a gesture to Renly. "Renly, you don't know what it takes to face a boar like this head on. It requires a certain state of mind, which can only be reached during battle or by drinking a lot of wine." Robert said with a grim.
"Now move aside, it will need a clear path for its charge." Robert said as he walked slowly and unsteadily to the den.
"Come on now, give me space dammit, I must be the only target" he said as he gestured everybody away.


He stood ready, boarspear in two hands, facing the den head on. Inside you could hear it, it was getting anxious. It wouldn't take a lot now to draw it out.
"On my signal, you start harassing that den" he said to some of his guards who had moved to the other side.
It became very quiet as they all waited for the signal.
"Alright, ready........." Robert started.

When suddenly the silence was broken by the sounds of fast gallopinging horses.
His guards came immediately into action, encircling the king. Barrastian himself stood at the king's side in less then a second, sword drawn and facing the approaching horsemen.
"What is this?" Robert shouted as the riders reigned in their horses. They wore Baratheon and Lannister colors and the guards relaxed a little.
"My King!" the lead horsemen, Beric Donadarrion, said.
"We've been looking all over Antler's forest for you, I bear a message from Lord Stark and Lady Cersei." he said as he dismounted.
"What is so urgent that they can't handle it themselves? What could they possibly need me for?" Robert said.
"It is the Targaryens your Grace, a large fleet and a huge force have landed on Tarth. Latest reports says the Dorthraki warlord Khal Drogo has brought his entire khalassar with him to put Viserys Targaryen on the throne."
"WHAT!?" Robert was astonished.
"Targaryens. Here. Invading. Now!?"
"That is what the reports of Varys say your Grace" Beric said.
"Saddle our horses!" Robert shouted. "We ride to Kingslanding immediately, I want to be there in one day, you hear me!"
"One day? We took 4 days to get here." Renly said.
"That was in peace time boy, now we have a war" Robert said with a grim and a glistering in his eyes.

Tywin Lannister looked grimly at the letter, he had been expecting to have to deal with Jaime's actions against house stark but Targaryens it sent a chill down his spine "hopefully the boy Viserys forgot that it was the lannister's that slayed his father and sacked kings landing" Tywin rose from his chair and thought, "I have dug a hole and the only way to get out of it will be in blood and fire, I know what i must do."
He called in his captain of guard, "Ride to Casterly Rock and send out the ravens to call the Banners We ride to Storms End, For if Hpuse Lannister is to Survive the Targaryens Must be Stopped"

EDIT: Actually, now that I re-read, it does sound like he is declaring war on the greenland throne. Which is rather a problem, based on what I just said

Ooc: is stannis on dragonstone currently? If so then i consider it plausible that stannis knows of the incest. Also, it seems like he is just denouncing the targs but a clarification would help.

Eddard sent the ravens off to Stannis right before trying to stop Joff succeeded Robert IIRC. I think in RP terms Eddard should have the choice of revealing it to whomever.

In game terms, if Robert B is killed Stannis gets the usual claim kingship dialogue.

Btw what means OOC ? And as far i know, Robert is alive, then he's the king, so, i don't need to deal with Joffrey for now, i believe.

OOC: I have half-written a full backstory. Essentially, Illyrio takes a more active role in 'encouraging' Viserys, Dany, and Drogo to land, and provides more material support.

Also, the Targ's would suck if they could lose 1 family member and be doomed.

I will post something IC tomorrow. Now, it is bed time

Ooc I think that right after the wedding instead of riding to Vaes Dothrok they sailed straight from Pentos to Tarth. So other than the baby none of the Dothraki sea happened. Also Stannis left for Dragonstone before Eddard even arrived.
