Bug with Steam
Recently I started having a problem with Steam thinking that I'm still playing Kingdoms even after I exit out. It still has me as currently playing Kingdoms as my status, and if I try to start up Kingdoms, it'll say that it's already running. I tried checking my applications and processes, and I don't see Medieval 2 or Kingdoms anywhere. I can't simply restart Steam either because it won't let me close it until I close Kingdoms first. So I end up having to end the Steam process in the task manager every time.
This problem also seemed to pop up randomly. The game was running fine before. My OS is Windows 7 64 bit.

Re: Bug with Steam
It'll be called "Launcher.exe" in windows task manager, under processes, turn that off, I always turn mine off at the campaign menu.

Re: Bug with Steam
Thanks for the response. Is there any way for Steam to recognize when I quit out without having to go into task manager though?

Re: Bug with Steam
No, neither Steam nor CA could be bothered to fix this issue, the game is older than Steam iirc.

Re: Bug with Steam
Contact Steam. this one is in their ballpark. Their client probably needs another fix.
