Default Need Help Getting My Onboard Sound Card Working

I had to format my hard drive. XP installed fine and all that but the computer doesnt recognise the onboard sound card anymore. What can I do to fix this?

    Cheers.

Find out what kind of sound card it is and download drivers. You can find out by using your good friend google. Start by seqarching for the specs of your motherboard. If you do'n t know, you can alway open up your computer and check what's written on your motherboard. A very common soundcard is the AC '97.

Install your motherboard drivers...the audio codec will be included with them.
