Default Little question about formations in RTW

Hi I'm playing this game already for 3 months and tried a lot of mods and enjoy playing this game very much. But still wondering how i can get bigger formations of units. I allways see on screenshots unit card like 168 soldiers or something alike that but. My question is how to increase the numer of units in a card? :hmmm:

    Thanks in advance

    P.S:
I'm not Englisch so my Englisch is not perfect :original:

In the main menu, go to "options - video options" and set "unit size" to "huge". (or "large", or whatever you want)

    Btw, are you German? (Englisch)

Make sure you stay around here!

Be aware that huge unit size creates a much slower game. What are the specs of your PC?

My Pc specs are Pentium IV 1.5Ghz Radeon 9550 256mb
    756mb of Memory

RTW runs slow if i use Large unit scale. and also very slow when i attack of defend a Large city. RTW is much more fun with More units. But it slows my pc down. And I also tried a Game Accelerator but it does not really help (software like that is always crapy).
Maby you know some way to increase peformance and have large scale units. or help me find a good way to set the game options.

Thanks in advance I hope you can help.

You can try turning down the graphics in the options menu, like the grass setting to min and the other settings to min.the reset the unit size to what you want. But really you need to increase your memory.I am running a 1.73Ghz chip with 1Gb Ram on a laptop,it runs a treat on small unt sizes ,i have a pretty good setting on the graphics but will turn them own when i increase the unit size in my next Campaign. To have MASSIVE battles you will need a pretty HARDCORE pc to cope with it.Hope this helps a bit.
Push to test... Release to detonate.

My AMD 3700+ can handle 8000 men or so with like 20 fps.....but my old AMD 1.4 could only handle about 1500.
