Spawn armies and garrison script.
Is there anyway to disable either the spawn armies or the garrison script? I am playing a Pontic Campaign and when I try to take a settlement I have to fight the garrison that comes out of nowhere or a full stack army. I know its there to provide challenga and stop you from rolling on the enemy factions but its madness at the same time. The Ai ends up with stack after stack, especially the Romans. Can you please help me with this?
Regards,
Davidos.

Re: Spawn armies and garrison script.
Either edit the script to remove these features or never start the script in a campaign.....

Re: Spawn armies and garrison script.
You can use NotePad++ (freeware) or similar product to edit the script - it's only a text file.
The script can be found in '....\data\scripts\show_me\background_script.txt'.
Just make sure you keep a backup of the original so if you mess up you have something to fall back on. Also keep a backup of each 'working' version before you edit it again.
