Cojiro Cuccos is unique to Kakariko and serves as its mount vendor with a small selection of horses although its primary ware is of course Cuccos
    Also, from Neph's Sheikah guide:
...it was the Sheikah who would encourage turning the chickens into a food industry.
    and
Cuccos were a favorite meat of the Sheikah...
From that I can only conclude that cuccos aren't invincible in Neph's dimension.

Honestly I don't think cuccos were meant to be thought of as invincible in the main series either. If they were what would their purpose be? If you go off the logic that Link himself can't kill a cucco in any of the games except Link's Awakening then you have to also consider that you can't kill any friendly NPC's or Epona. Are they also invincible according to lore because of that gameplay element?

Other than a few horses Anju will sell: Blue Cuccos (rare) Pocket Cuccos (mid) and regular Cuccos as well as eggs. All cucco items will simply be trade items until I can figure out something better. (Roast cucco is sold at food stalls as a food item.)

i would fall over laughing if the most powerful weapon in the game was using a live cucco as armor. just strap it to you and let the enemy hit you they then die to an avalanche of cuccos

the reason cucco would be invincible and not viligers is because in the games you can hit cuccos but cant kill them. you cant hit villagers because link is refusing to harm them not because their invincible(but i admit ive never tried myself nor seen anyone else try so im not perfectly sure)

Well, in Mount and Blade warband. You can buy Cows. And herd them to another town. You can also do this as a job for others to earn money.
So besides selling eggs, feathers, and meat of Cuccos. Which we will probably have. Since there is animal Goods in Mount and Blade warband. You maybe able to Gain and sell Golden/Rare Cuccos. Like they were Priced Horses.
Other then that. Are there Dogs that attack people in Mount and Blade warband? If there are. We could have a Cuccos Swarm attack people.
Thanks for clearing that up, I often forget that many here haven't actually played Warband. On the subject of herding cuccos similar to cows, I didn't mention it because I'm not sure if I can have more than one type of herd animal or not.

Also, I hadn't thought of feathers, maybe due to the relative lack of other birds they'd be used for bedding/quills/etc and so would make sense as a trade item.

The issue with feral dogs or a cucco swarm is that there's no way of making them only attack when they've been attacked. The best you can do is make them attack only when they "see" you. (An example is the goblins in Moria in TLD) So you can see how that could get annoying or just have limited application. - One thing I do plan on doing with that code is the Shadow Temple filled with hostile ReDeads.

I Approve of what you have planned for the "Lon Lon Milk Bar:"
As for the "Cojiro Cuccos:". I'm not sure. I'm not too familiar with that.

On a side note. Can you maybe get as many businesses from Legend of Zelda as you can. With in reason of course.
And maybe limit them to era. Like the Great Sea ones would only show up on the islands to the North of the main content.
I'm thinking that the Deku Merchant would be mostly in the wild's. Like a camp you can visit. But they would also be common in small farm towns. What do you think?

    Edit:
About the Great Sea Era mod. There was a mod or expansion for Mount and Blade Warband. That added in Vikings, and a campaign for them. Maybe we can use that for the Great Sea Mod era.
I appreciate the feedback, FYI I called it "Cojiro Cuccos" in reference to Ocarina of Time. The Chicken Lady/Anju gives you a blue cucco named Cojiro that belonged to her brother Grog, OOT SPOILER:
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Grog ends up turning into a Stalfos after getting lost in Lost Woods. So it makes sense to me that she would name the business after the cucco that her brother had a strong attachment to in memoriam of him.

I also plan on creating a logo for "Granny's Potion Shop" featuring her pet tiger as well as ones for a local blacksmith and bazaar. Any other vendors in Kakariko will just be in market stalls.

I'm not sure if there's a limit to the number of interiors I can have linked to a scene in Warband, but I'm going to try my best to get as many lore appropriate businesses in as possible. I want settlements to be really detailed and interesting so people might prefer to walk through them rather than just using the menus to get around. (Which is why I'm focusing on Kakariko until it's %100)

I like the idea of Deku Merchants spread across Hyrule, and I've seen neutral camps/taverns/etc in a few different mods so it's definitely doable. - Great Sea stuff will be limited to "expeditions" (roaming factions) with whatever unit models I can get my hands on and I won't be making the Islands until Neph has Great Sea on the grill. Other than that yes most things will be era appropriate.

As for your edit: I don't think Warband modding tools work with the expansions. Most of what they do is doable in Warband through user made scripts anyway. I do plan on making the Islands part of the main mod despite the lore issues which I'll write around.

What I Meant for Dogs is. Are there Dogs in towns? Main game or by mods? Like if you just start attacking people. the Dogs act like Guards. and attack you. Or if you are attack be some one who hates you. like a sneak attack in a town. they might use dogs to make a type of man hunt. That's assuming there are Dogs in the main game, Expansions, or mods. But you could do some thing similar with cucco. Maybe even Hyrulain Bees.

I like the idea of "Granny's Potion Shop".
Maybe you can get that Witch from ALTTP who sells potions. I would think she would be in the wild some where. As a neutral camp.

The thing is, you can't attack people unless they're already attacking you (in a non-battle scene). For instance if you hit a Village Elder your attacks just bounce off. As far as I know no one has implemented dogs or anything in the way you're describing and it would be impossible (at least for me) to do so.

The best I could do is:

    A. Make an enclosed area that you could jump into (low fence and NPC's can't jump) or a building filled with hostile cuccos (Anju's house for instance)

    B. Make cuccos actual combatants that spawn with roaming villagers

Okay, it's been 2+ weeks so I guess I'll post some more work. I'm not going to preview Kakariko for another week or two though.

These are pretty much just work from today, the rest of the time I was working on Kakariko. This may be it for Sheikah banners unless I think of another theme or someone recommends something.
More business logos along with advertisements and maybe even a sort of newspaper coming soon.

Sarinilli made the Sheikah symbol that I used to make all of the elements except for the Hawkeye vector.

Those Banners are pretty cool. Though the Hawkeye Banner seems out of place. Maybe if there was more variety in that style/tone. It would seem less out of place.

Thanks, I may try making similar ones for each unit type. Like a kunai vector for Sheikah "Battlefield Assassins" for instance. If I did they'd be more likely to end up GUI elements or scene decoration than usable banners though.

I'm not sure what I'll do with it but I do agree that it doesn't fit in so I'll keep it separate somehow or just drop it.

Oh and I'm sure everyone knows, but to be proper: credit to UndyingNephalim for the "Death Stance" symbol's concept.

What do you think of switching from the current Hylian font (which is from Twilight Princess) to Sarinilli's Hylian Language Project?
