2.4 Update Please

Hello BC community,

I am NOT asking for a release date. In fact, I am shocked at the amount of people who are asking (and for 3.0 at that).

Instead, I was hoping for a 2.4 update, no dates whatsoever.

What have you finished, what are you working on, what have you scrapped or decided to push back to the 3.0 update?

Also, I was wondering if you had any plans of doing another preview like you did for Yemen for a new faction.

And Lastly, what will be in 2.4 that is in the 3.0 pre-preview? That's a lot of pages and over two years ago. Will the new map be in 2.4? How many new factions and which ones?

wudang_clown, the team leader, is offline since several weeks due to RL. Nobody of the team will announce something team internal during his absence.

there will be 4 islamic religions this is some of them

just a question regarding the islamic faith. In some others mod that I saw, Shia, Muslims can't join in a Jihad. is going to be the same in Broken Crescent too?? I'm not an expert in that, so sorry for the stupid question if it is...

I am not sure, but i think it is impossible for shia factions to join a sunn jihad...
And i am not sure that scripting 2 or 3 differents jihad is possible...

I think the list of religions for 2.4 is the same as this planed before for 3.0** : I am happy to know that so much modifications will be on the 2.4.
As fan of all the work of BC team, if you need help for some boring stuff, I would be proud and happy to help you

not starting some thing or anything but just to let the people know (no offence) that there is no other Islam,Islam is only one and its Sunni...Shia,Ibaddi or this so called Zaidi (don't know the other only Shia) are man made beliefs,Peace to all who are hurt or offended just in case....anyway looking forward for this split for the realistic approach and such and i think the wait will be so much worth it when 2.4 releases.

I do agree with you Byzantineboy, but without the Jihad, that kind of muslims group would be less attractive in the game, compare with the others, and at the end a little bit weaker.

we are talking about multiple Jihad for different religion.....they are just saying that a Shia faction can't join the Jihad of the Sunni faction because historically accurate during those times the Sunni and Shia were in great internal conflicts because of different views.
