i cant find patch 1.2 for troy total war 2.0

ok i have uninstalled reinstalled two time i have got rid of everything and i am following these rules

To Install:

1. Install Rome: Total War 1.0
2. Install Rome: Total War 1.2 patch
3. Install Rome: Total War Barbarian Invasion
4. Install Rome: Total War 1.6 patch
5. Install Troy: Total War 2.0.0 105MB here or here
6. Install Troy: Total War 2.1.0 patch 34MB here
7. Install Troy: Total War 2.1.0 hotfix here

ok why do you have to download 1.2 i dont understand that because if you have barbarian invasion it gives you 1.3. damn i really want to play this mod

It is a very common misperception that you need to patch to 1.2 before you patch to 1.3 and 1.5/1.6. In reality the RTW 1.2 patch is ONLY needed if you are going to play a RTW 1.2 mod, otherwise IGNORE that myth.

yes you do need patch 1.2... patch 1.1 is the one that isnt needed.... plus you need to patch RTW to 1.2 then install BI since BI only has patch 1.3 on it and not 1.2....

1. If the RTW 1.2 patch is needed, then why can't you download it from the "official" CA website ??? They only have the RTW 1.3, 1.5 and BI 1.6 patches. I did not think they would want to sell games that you can not patch up and be able to play (not very good business sense). Not only that, but they do not even mention the RTW 1.2 patch when telling you about all of the RTW/BI/ALX patches, only the RTW 1.3, 1.5 and BI 1.6 patch.

2. All my RTW 1.5, BI 1.6 and ALX 1.9 games play perfectly fine and I have never patched them to RTW 1.2. So if what you are saying is true, I should not be able to play all of my games.

And by the way, I own the original Activision RTW 1.0, not Sega's RTW.

Panama's right I cant get patch 1.2 to load properly but have higher patches and am running RTR v1.6 without all the middle patching.
