    anyone seen this?

Amazing is all i can say. Good stuff, brutal, yet not too much. Funny, yet not Bad boys 2, it was just right. And i have to say from personaly experience, gun shots sounded very realistic. As soon as this bad boy is on DVD, i will own it.
Sure I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is Im not. I honestly feel that America is the best country and all other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.

It was a surprisingly good movie. It wasn't a great crime drama like LA Confidential... it was an entertaining film. I'm glad I went to see it.

It definitely looks like a cool movie but a lot of critics gave it bad reviews. They basically said that it didn't have that spark that made the series so good. I like Michael Mann's films so I'll enjoy his latest one whether it does the series justice or not.

I thought it was pretty cool, but I wish it was set in the 80s.
Why are GTA and Austin Powers the only entities able to travel through the past couple decades?
While movies can occasionally do a period piece of 60s or earlier, or ultra modern, what about some recent goneness?
I for one am sick of ultra modern magic computers. (I don't mean in the making of the film as in special effects, but rather in the actual setting, having computers strapped to every last semi-flat surface that do everything instantaneously for the characters)

Wow, I just saw this movie today and it was really good. Everything about the movie was cool like the cars, boats, clothes, characters, guns, settings, etc. Michael Mann really knows how to make a cool movie and he sure did it again with Miami Vice. The story had your typical Miami Vice plot but one thing that was missing from the film was the 80's theme. I felt this movie could have been better if it took place in the 80's but what the hell; it's still a good movie anyways. Like JP226 said, the gun shots in the movie sounded very realistic. It was almost ear deafening because it was so loud. The gun battle near the end was amazing. I was literally on the edge of my seat watching it in awe. Certainly one of the best shootouts I've ever seen in a movie and I applaud Michael Mann for doing a very good job overall. I'm definitely buying this movie when it comes out on DVD.
