Perhaps it should be removed, I dunno.

Here goes in any case.

1½ month ago before work stole all my time, I used to have 11-1200 posts. Now I have only 900-and-something.

Why is that?

MoS thread got deleted and remade maybe thats why.

Yes, if a thread you had posts in gets deleted, your post count goes down.

There it is, together with the removed original Official Question-thread, most likely.
I myself lost some 1500 posts due to MOS while some guys fell down to 0 again

This is due to a policy of closing and removing +10 000 post threads based on server limitations.
It's handed manually should be noted, so don't be surprised (nor upset) if a thread is missed atm. MOS came almost up to 12' before it was closed and deleted, for example.

Yep mate, old MOS thread is deleted, over 300 posts of mine there deleted too
