Online Campaign Tips
I've never done an online campaign, so there are a few things I'm wondering about.
I'm playing as the Oda and a friend of mine as the Tokugawa. We just got off now after about 6 or 7 turns, and as it stands, I took Mino, started building castles there and at Owari to defend the homefront, then went south to the Hattori lands, taking the province just south and east (or on the campaign map, south and west) of Owari, then taking the Yamano province. I have the Ikko Ikki above me threatening possible war, and the Hattori are kind of beaten down at Iga, but I'm not taking them until I take out the Hatakeyama province first.
My buddy has just destroyed the Imagawa and now is fortifying and preparing for war with the Takeda and Hojo.
I assume almost everything is the same, but now as the Oda I can focus on heading south while he heads north, and I just need to defend my home provinces from the Ikko Ikki and other nearby clans while I surround Kyoto.
How does realm divide work, though? Will the game compile both of our provinces and declare war on the both of us when we each hit 17-20? Or will it only work against one of us when we do? Or is there even a realm divide feature in online campaigns? I'd be upset if there wasn't, because we've already mitigated the hardest part of the Oda and Tokugawa campaigns because we're no longer surrounded by enemies and have to focus everywhere at once. Without realm divide, I assume we're going to be able to steam roll every clan when we get more powerful.
