    Default Problem installing Alexander!!!!!

I buy new PC and now i have C: /100 mb/ and E: /800 GB/ and when i try to install Alexander I get error "Not enough space to install these option(s)".
So is there any way I can change Alexander installation path to E: Drive?

Are you using autorun or setup.exe?

CA did write RTW and M2TW in such a way that without a certain amount of free space on C: you could not change drives. If this carried over to Alex, I don't know.

Then you'll have to move programs to make room for CA's installer to open up another drive. No other choice.

"It has come to our attention that the space requirement test on installation always checks the C: drive for space rather than the target drive directory. Alexander requires approximately 451MB of free drive space so this must be free on your C: drive regardless of where the original game was installed to."

If your C and E partitions are on the same drive you can shrink E and extend C. Tutorial

Ancronis had one I used before XP was released. You may want to Google for it.

You booted the computer with GParted and it didn't let you shrink the C partition?

no, it will give you a lot of issues if you did that though.

best is to remove temporarily some things in C, but acronis can enlarge the C drive.

That`s because your RTW\BI is installed there on E: drive, but you had to free some space on C:drive (451 MB at least) cause Alex installation REQUIRES 451 MB free space on C:drive regardless where your RTW\BI is installed. That was an epic fail from the developers.
Glad you got it to work mate.

Sons of *******, leave that poor, war torn country in peace.
If you are a citizen of one of these countries, then DO NOT ask any help from me on these forums, since, in protest against this aggression by your governments, I do not provide assistance/help anymore.
Let Syria be finally in peace.
