    Default 2 Questions

Recently re-installed Rome in anticipation of the sequel.

I just have two quick questions regarding the mod (which I'm thoroughly enjoying)

With using the 1 Turn option, does the AI abide by it as well? i.e. can the AI still build a full stack in a turn while I'm stuck with one unit?

How big a difference is there in difficulty? This mostly refers to campaign difficultly, I just remember on hard battle difficulty the AI morale is laughable unbreakable.

    Cheers

    1) The computer can only recruit one at at time, same as the player in 1-turn.

    2) The mod was balanced on H/H, so it's recommended you play on that. Most people on here play either M/H or H/H. With hard campaign as opposed to medium, the main difference is your economy in relation to the AI's. They get a lot more income than you on hard, so you'll be facing more armies, although they won't necessarily be better armies.

Hard battle difficulty is not "laughable unbreakable", you just need to know how to use your units most effectively. Fear bonus and morale bonus units are wildly underrated. I always, and I mean always, have them in every army. The best way I've found to break the enemy is to whittle them down with ranged, lock lines, and send your most ferocious troops, with cavalry accompanying, to their weakest company. The combined assault will terrify the unit and impact will most likely make them rout if it's timed properly. Once the first goes, the whole line coils up like a snake and you've got your victory. It's all about timing and knowing what you need to counter.
