Why does Carthage get owned by the AI? Almost every campaign I have played as Rome, they get owned by the Gallaeci and this is with me leaving them alone aside from destroying any armies they send once in awhile to Caralis. To me, destroying Macedon and the Greeks takes precedence, hate fighting phalanxes.
Second, one turn really is epic in some senses. If you destroy a stack or two, it takes the AI time to build back up armies. I like that. Makes the way I expand and fight more strategic.
Third, are the Averni really that much better than the Boii and the Cimbri?
Fourth, I never really payed much attention to unit stats, but I recently fought the Boii, outnumbered them, but their units had bonuses in the snow and woods, and I got owned. Liked that. Made me pay more attention.
Fifth, anyone else do this - Disloyal governors or generals go on a boat pirate hunting and die?
And lastly, do you always have the emperor set up in Rome?
