    Sheesh. How bloody melodramatic..

The Carthaginian narrator sounds like he's being repeatedly kicked in the groin.

I watched them again yesterday after a year or so. The carthaginian voice-over was pure gold. I can guess they tried to make him sound different from the Eastern narrator, but that was so bloody over-the-top. Otherwise the intros are fine, except maybe the pink pyjamas, but that's not the intros fault, especially the barbarian and roman intros are plain awesome. I still get goosebumbs from the Sons of Mars-intro.

Nice point, Crymson. I still hear in my head the narrator saying "we, the Parthians, love money" (or something similar, I had the Spanish version).
And we you finally played with Parthia you were bankrupt in turn 2.

Bloody foreigners! They have the cheek to go to war against us - or worse, get the other people to do it for them - and they expect to be treated like men. Well, I say this: treat them all like cattle to be butchered!

Just FYI, I was talking about the campaign introductions.

I.E. the Carthaginian, in a ludicrously high voice, "last night, I had a DREAM! There were children screaming and I saw the destruction of our city! Why would Ba'al send me this dream? He is not a cruel god.." etc. The guy gets a bit emphatic. Sorry, buddy, but dreams are neurons bouncing around in your head.
