Crash on startup

Hi, installed SS6.3, loaded up fine, didn't start campaign but did get a CTD when trying to start battle. Ignored it and presumed it would be fixed in 6.4 anyway. Installed 6.4 and now it "crashes" on startup, most of the time by just disappearing without an error message or anything.
