Deleting units

I have radious mod (overhaul) that adds new units and a load of other things, and I'm enjoying it except for some of the more ridiculous units. I tried deleting yari ninja in unit stats land tables and unit tables, but now my game wont start unless i disable the mod. I've also tried deleting it in a few other places too but it still wont start. I could restore the units and make it work again by deleting and reinstalling the mod but that wouldn't really solve my main problem. So what am i doing wrong?

I reinstalled mod and everything is working fine... so basically I'm just asking how you delete a unit or the closest thing to it.

You could just remove it from the builiding_units_allowed table to disable it's ability to be recruited
