RS2 not launching?

So I searched the forums and came up basically empty, so I apologize if this has been asked before.

Anyway, I installed RS2 as per the instructions here (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=386559). I set the steam launch option to yes, launched the game, and everything seems peachy. However, after the game actually loads, it looks like RS2 didn't even launch. Everything appears the same as vanilla R:TW. Am I missing something incredibly tiny? Thanks.

Ey mates. I cant start launching RSII launcher cause its says me failed to initialise 3d audio. Do you have any help for the problem? Thanks

One common problem is that the Miles folder is missing from your install.

Note: This folder is part of the vanilla R:TW game and not part of the mod.

Also you may find that selecting some audio options will also result in this. I have a Creative X-Fi card in my PC but I can't select EAX at all. I think this is part of a mess up with Windows Vista and 7 as I was able to use this setting before.....
