I'm not sure if many know this, but figured I'd share just in case anyone ever comes into the same problem.

While making a brand new map, and campaign, I decided just to add all my regions with the same information (i.e., same rebels, resources, farming level, blah blah). After about 147 regions, I hit a huge roadblock, and was getting CTD at the end of the campaign loading bar, and never made it to the map. It took absolutely forever for me to figure it out, but it turns out, It was just that I was using the same rebels for each region, and apparently there is a limit for that.

Sorry if this is well known information, just trying to help if anyone needs it.

All I had to do was use a different rebel faction for that regions, and problem solved. Just something to try if you are stuck while mapping.
