Since our consuls are missing, I'll take the liberty to open a thread for volunteers.
I'm looking for 3 quaestors, for which at least to be on the euro-time zone.
this time both senatoriis and regular civis can apply.

I would like to apply for this position. Further more I am in the european timezone.
Rather than list all the cursory things I could say in order to get people to vote for my I shall do the opposite and announce the things I believe that the voting curia ought to know, if they do not already. I am a trifle too hot headed for my own good and have occasionally been petty in the past. Further more if I remember something I consider unfair I tend to hold it against the person. Thirdly and lastly in this brief synopsis I doubt I will have a computer able to play M2:TW - my current one can barely run Rome. Although not a bad thing in itself (Squeaky for instance doesn't even play Total War games, I believe) it is none the less a negative point if the staff are looking for someone to manage the gaming side of the forums.
Incidentally shouldn't it be Tribounos since we're moving over to this fancy Byzantian theme, or will that happen with the skin et cetera?
Garbarsardar has been a dapper chap.
I would also like to apply for Quasetor. Im regular visitor all portions of the site. In particular, I spend time in the Terrae Expundae mod section, where I have done beta testing for Lusted. I am the originator of the "Coins of Rome and the Ancient World" thread in the Vestigia, and like to argue pro-western policy in the MudPit.
I can be very helpful, visiting the Technical Help forum on a daily basis, and have helped numerous widows and orphans cross the street in my neighborhood.
I have no warnings. Mostly because I treat people with respect and dignity, even those I disagree with.
If you vote for me, I pledge a chicken in every pot and cash advances for all. Thank You.

Once again Ill throw my hat in. But Id like to ask this: Is staff looking for moderators for the CC or TW Community or either? And one more thing, isnt the rule that you have had to be a Civ for at least one month with no warnings?
Ill just post what i did before.......![]()
Also, I have never had 1 single warning in my 5+ months here.I will apply for the position of Queastor. I meet the requirements and I think I am a good choice for the position. For one, I do act mature on these forums, and I am nice to everyone whether they are new members or more seasoned veterans. I also have plenty hae experience as a local moderator in several fora, and I could more than handle any issues that being Q will throw at me. I know the rules of the site, I have read the Moderator's Handbook several times through and I know what I am doing when it comes to moderating. I also think that if made a Queastor I could help moderate some of the less moderated fora, or at least the ones that I am very active in, such as the Tech help Center, the RTW Discussion, Mod workshop, and also the PoTW forum. It wouldnt hurt to have another moderator there, especially one as active in those places as I am. And you say that you are looking for people who are in the Europe time zone. If this is because more are needed because of the time zone in Europe, then thats ok, but I would also like to point out that I live in Colorado and I am almost always on late for my time zone, and whenever i am on I usually do not see more than 1 staff member on. At times I stay up long enough to where it is morning in most of Europe, where other mods live, so with me as Q this site can have nearly full time moderating. So, basically I am online during the times that these forums are really busy and at the time it is less busy with moderators. Due to my nocturnal habits, you have one more reason that I should be considered for Queastor.
Yeah, pretty much it. If you think that Im not worthy of moderating the forums that I visit a lot or helping out the TWC staff then talk to me about it![]()
:tooth: i like those smilies.......

both, I would say 2 TW and 1 CC. Or 1 CC and 1 TW and one that might do a ronin.Originally Posted by Hader
Ok, because last time this thread was opened it wasnt very clear what forums you needed mods for, I might have not signed up for the last one if I had known that you were looking for CC mods........ well thanks for clearing that upOriginally Posted by Archer

I would like to put myself up for consideration also, i have no record of warnings and fit the european criteria, i would like join the modderating team that look after the TW sections of the site as this is where i feel i could contribute most. i could then continue working in the CoW and feel a place on staff would allow me to do that from a better perspective.
I applied for the last Quaestor elections, those of you who were there will remeber my long-winded and boring post on my virtues and good points. It didn't do me a jot of good then, so I'll forgo it now, instead replacing it with this:
Carpe Diem
And with that I put forward my application
(And by chance I am GMT)
If you don't know me, then you're not here for long enough. If you do know me, you'll know why you should vote for me. I'd like to nominate myself for Quaestor. Peace.
I would like to nominate myself for this. I am in the european time zone, and regulary report posts, and have been on this site for over a year now.
I am probably most active in the CC, but I do post a lot in the RTW and MTW2 and MTW sections, and the tech help center. And with only two Questors covering the TW section, I think some help is greatly needed.
I am very active atm, and would do my utter most best to be a fair mod.

I would also like to put forward my candidacy for the position of Quaestor. I have been on the forum for almost five months now, and I believe in that time I have proven myself as a member and a Civitate. I have not earned a single usernote, caution, or warning in all of my time here, and I've always tried to be as impartial as I can (something I believe to be a good trait for a moderator). Moreover, none of the positions I have taken in debate have had anything to do with personal overtones- I take the position I believe to be correct regardless of personal feeling or friendship. I am also flexible enough to change an initial decision if evidence presents itself, and strong enough to hold to decisions I believe are correct even under fire. In my over 500 posts since joining, I have compiled what I believe to be a strong Curial record, participating in most votes and making my opinions heard. I have also been active in both the TW and CC forums, following Aetius' succession campaigns and even creating one of my own. I have also compiled posts in the Vestigia and Symposium. If elected, I'll do my best to represent the Curia in the Staff Forum and as a moderator, and I pledge to be fair and impartial in all my actions. I have been, and always will be, an ardent supporter and proud member of the Curia, and your interests are my own. Thank you for your consideration.
Archer, for moderation purposes, I can do either TW or CC, and my time zone is Eastern American (GMT-5 when it's not daylight savings). Thanks.

Its been a whole year since I've held a staff position, so I'll put my name forward. I can cover either TW or CC sections, I post from the U.S. East Coast. I can provide a glowing recommendation from Crandar if you want, according to him my only bad trait as a moderator is the possession of a soul.![]()

Amongst a group of such talented people, I doubt I'll get very far, but here it goes ...
There are about 13,700 people on these forums, and of those, I am sure about 90% go to bed with thoughts of being staff under their metaphorical pillow. I am not ashamed to admit that I am one of that large crowd, and that, like so many others before me, I think I actually have a chance. But I digress.
The Council of War (of which I am a member) will soon be proposing to staff suggestions for drastic changes to the modding community forum structure. These new forums (if they are passed) will need more Lusteds (that is to say, "modding moderators,") and I think that as an avid modder as well as one who helped put the forums together I could help fill these shoes.
I would also say that I moderate my mod website (in the hopes showing off my vast credentials in moderating) but as we get about 10 posts a month (9 of them being mine) that may not be the best example. I'm a librarian if that helps, so Im not completely new to the mod cp etc.
Suffice it to say that my desire to try and improve the site is there, and if I receive but one vote in recognition of this, then I will be quite happy.
Thanks and good luck to all,
Publius
Well now that its fair, ill take a gander.
May I nominate myself? Although I would rather be the moderator of the CC. I do admit I can be harsh and some may not take to my humour or questioning, but am I any worse than Honor&Glory?
Somewhere in the Asia Pacific time zone.
I would like to apply for the Quaestor position. If you notice, I'm on TWC most of the day, so my personal time zone is irrelevant. I am perfect and completely flawless, and am the best candidate that you could ever hope to obtain.
Also, I have no usernotes, and a "reputation beyond repute", if that means anything.

Since everyone else is doing it....
I have been on staff for a year and have had minimal complaints and my style has been that of many staff look up to. Outside of staff I have no usernotes. What more is there to say? No one can touch this.
