possible M2:TW cover

If you look at medieval 2 total war on play.com they have a cover for their game which is

is this the real cover and what do you think about it?

Yeah I think it is gonna be something like that.
He seems to be the "main" guy for M2TW.
RTW's main guy was that sour old man at first before it became the now shouting younger general which became the cover as well.

well i think Richard the Lionheart (the guy on the pic on the first post) has to be on the cover since he was basically King of England and France... correct me if im wrong..

True, he's going to be on the cover but I'm just hoping they add some cool background to it like in that one wallpaper.

I disagree. The possible cover Sponge posted looks simple and effective. The king is the central point of the cover and draws your eye. If it were cluttered up with many soldiers in the background the cover would be less eye-grabbing. That is, afterall, what it is supposed to be.

Although I do agree with the second screenshot you posted being on the cover - perhaps on the back, like the orginal M:TW cover.

Yeah, you're right. What's important for the cover is the King and nothing else. Probably the inside cover or the back will have a cool battle pic.

i hate this whole strategy covers that just have some persons gace on the cover ( all started with the C&C games )

oh not all RTS games have one close up warrior on the cover, Age of empires is completely different and original, they have Three Close up warriors on the cover!

I like the look of it though, i hope its similar to the RTW cover, that was very good i thought, and i believe was in Gamespy's 'Best Game Covers of the Year' awards
