LOL! I think its pronounced "pen-us" not "Pee-nus" hence the two ns.(Otherwise, it would be spelt "Penus" or "Penis".)
What would be really funny is if you had a guy called "Penis Magnus". Which means "Big Dick" in Latin.![]()
Such is the price of being "accurate". :tooth:Originally Posted by The Lacedaemonian

Romanes eunt domus!
("The people called Romans they go to the house?")
I once had a general with the a first name "Servus" (slave).
Now, why would you want a slave as a Captian?
Romanes eunt domus!
("The people called Romans they go to the house?")
Boy have you been sleeping in Latin? What you wrote in latin is grammatically incorrect, (plural of Romanus is Romani). eunt comes at the end of a verb to signify plural perfect tense. To write in latn what you translated would be:
"populi Romanos vocaverunt ut domum venerent"
I Think it's from a monty python skit.
You haven't seen Monty Python's Life of Brian, have you?Originally Posted by chaplain118

Some countries banned it so it's not surprising.
