  • The Senate of Rome authorizes Gnaeus Claudius Tranquillus to conduct trade missions to any non-hostile city within the Tyrrhenian sea.
  • All funding of ships, supplies and other materials shall be covered by Gnaeus Claudius Tranquillus.
  • A tax of 20% of profits shall be paid to the treasury on his return to Rome after all voyages.
  • Rome is not indebted to pay for any ransom if Gnaeus Claudius Tranquillus is captured.
  • The Senate may direct Gnaeus Claudius Tranquillus to a specific port whenever they need his services
  • Gnaeus Claudius Tranquillus must swear an oath of fealty to Jupiter Optimus Maximus
